Cover every cell with rectangles. Each rectangle contains one number equal to its width + height. No overlaps.
In SUMTILO, the number in a rectangle is the sum of its width and height, not the number of its cells. For example, a 5 can describe a rectangle 2 cells wide and 3 cells high. Each rectangle must contain exactly one given number, and rectangles must not overlap.
Start with numbers that allow only a few rectangle shapes or positions. Use the grid edges and occupied cells to rule out further possibilities. Different difficulty levels offer an introduction to the area puzzle as well as more demanding challenges.

Draw a path from 1 to the highest number. Visit every cell exactly once, moving horizontally or vertically. Reach each numbered clue at exactly its position in the path.
Numbered clues are fixed milestones: a cell marked 8 must be reached on the eighth step. The spaces between clues must fit the required number of steps. Diagonal moves and revisiting cells are not allowed.
Watch for narrow passages and edge cells. Avoid cutting off empty cells that you will need to reach later. Play with a mouse, touch controls or the keyboard, and choose from different difficulty levels for a quick break or a longer puzzle session.

In Kryptogramm, mysterious symbols represent letters. Identical symbols always mean the same letter within a puzzle. All the words you are looking for belong to a shared theme. Select a symbol tile and then a letter to enter your guess and gradually decode the words.
Look for repeated symbols, short words and common letter sequences. Once you recognise a word, its letters help you with the remaining words. The shared theme provides further clues: which words belong together, and which letters make sense in them?
